　　奥利维尔（罗曼·杜里斯 Romain Duris 饰）和劳拉（露西·德拜 Lucie Debay 饰）结婚多年，两人共同养育着两个孩子，婚姻生活看似幸福美满。奥利维尔是一个非常传统的男人，家里奉行的是男主外女主内那一套，所以，他理所当然的将带孩子的责任都压在了劳拉的肩上，完全没有在意劳拉日益积累的压力。
就在奥利维尔的工作遭遇困境之际，劳拉竟然离家出走了，将两个孩子丢给了奥利维尔，霎时间，奥利维尔体会到了“父亲”两个字的重量。无奈之下，奥利维尔只得将生活的重心转回家庭之中，在带孩子的过程里，他也渐渐的感受到了劳拉的辛苦。
